CAMP BOSS | LABOUR CAMP OPERATIONS & WORKFORCE CONTROL

I am applying for the position of Camp Boss / Labour Camp Supervisor, bringing 4 years of hands-on Camp Boss and labour accommodation management experience in India, 7 years of UAE work experience, and 24 years of overall professional experience.

I am a disciplined, operationally focused, and results-driven professional who understands that labour camp management is not simply about allocating rooms. It requires strict discipline, workforce control, accommodation compliance, hygiene standards, HSE awareness, maintenance coordination, accurate documentation, and uncompromising accountability.

During my Camp Boss experience with Natrajan Manufacturers, I handled camp operations for approximately 1,500 contract labourers, coordinating accommodation, room allocation, worker complaints, discipline, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, security, transport, stock control, and workforce records. I understand the importance of maintaining accurate occupancy reports, identifying unauthorised absences, resolving disputes before they escalate, and ensuring that camp operations run without unnecessary disruption.

My approach is proactive, not reactive. I believe in conducting regular room inspections, identifying maintenance and hygiene issues before they become complaints, coordinating technicians for repairs, monitoring camp facilities, maintaining proper registers and Excel reports, and ensuring that workers follow established rules and procedures.

My UAE experience with organisations including Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) has further strengthened my understanding of operational discipline, SOP compliance, safety awareness, teamwork, and performing under pressure in demanding environments.

– The ability to prioritise urgent matters, take ownership of problems, and maintain operational continuity.

I do not believe in waiting for management to identify problems that a responsible Camp Boss should have detected and resolved already. I believe in inspecting, controlling, documenting, escalating when necessary, and following through until the issue is closed.

Although my Camp Boss experience was gained in India, I bring valuable UAE operational exposure, a strong work ethic, and the determination to establish an excellent track record in UAE labour accommodation management.
