Senior Accountant 11 Years UAE Experience

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in Accounts and Finance opportunities within your organization. With 13 years of total experience in Finance and Accounting, including 11 years of extensive UAE experience, I have developed strong expertise across manufacturing, energy, trading, and diversified business environments. My experience covers financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow and treasury management, audit coordination, internal controls, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance.

In my current role as Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance with United Power Solutions FZC and Genyard Energy FZC in Sharjah, I manage financial accounting and reporting across multiple business units and Free Zone entities. My responsibilities include month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, consolidated records, international banking, Letters of Credit (LCs), trade finance, cash-flow management, revenue forecasting, and financial system integration.

I have extensive practical exposure to both UAE Free Zone and Mainland business environments, including UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, banking, import/export transactions, customs-related documentation, intercompany transactions, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting requirements.

My experience also includes budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, variance analysis, working-capital management, inventory and costing, audit coordination, internal controls, and preparation and analysis of financial statements. I have worked closely with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective controls, and timely completion of financial activities.

Previously, as a Senior Accountant with Safetex Group, I managed financial statements, AP/AR, general ledger activities, bank and supplier reconciliations, budgeting, variance analysis, audit coordination, inventory and costing, and management reporting. I also contributed to ERP implementation, financial process improvement, and automation.

I have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, Pact ERP, Tally, SAP, and Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, conditional logic, data validation, and financial analysis.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) in Finance and plan to pursue the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification to further strengthen my expertise in financial management, management accounting, planning, and business decision support.

I am currently exploring a new opportunity where I can utilize my 13 years of Finance and Accounting experience, including 11 years in the UAE, and contribute to a professional and growing organization.
