Required Skills & Qualifications

· Extensive experience in Sports Turf Management, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in turf maintenance (sports pitch experience preferred).

· Knowledge of turf care techniques including maintenance and renovations including irrigation and drainage systems.

· Ability to operate and maintain turf care machinery and equipment.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills.

· Good communication skills in English.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and scheduling.

· Willingness to travel and work across UAE sites.

This fast-growing company is seeking Turf Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance delivery in the UAE working alongside experienced Turf Managers, the successful candidates will assist in the planning, supervision, and quality control of sports surfaces across the region.

As Turf Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the technical and operational delivery of SIS Pitches Middle East’s sports turf surfaces, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency on every site.

Purpose of the Role

To oversee and manage the maintenance of natural turf sports pitches, ensuring optimal playing conditions, longevity, and compliance with SIS Pitches’ quality standards. The Turf Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in planning, executing, and monitoring maintenance activities across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise routine and specialized maintenance of natural turf pitches.

· Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including mowing, fertilising, irrigation, aeration, and renovation works.

· Monitor pitch conditions and implement corrective actions to maintain performance standards.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance operations.

· Manage, train and work with maintenance teams and subcontractors.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment and material usage.

· Liaise with clients to provide updates and address concerns regarding pitch conditions.

· Coordinate with logistics and procurement for timely supply of materials and equipment.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives for turf care and maintenance practices.

· Write or assist in report writing and record keeping to improve services.
