Required Skills & Qualifications

· Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience as Site Engineer/Project Manager.

· Prior exposure to construction or engineering (Site-based experience preferred).

· Understanding of surveying, setting out, and construction processes.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and/or Primavera).

· Budget Management experience on projects.

· Project Management and organisational skills

· Good written and verbal communication in English.

· Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.

· Willingness to travel and work across multiple project sites in the UAE and Africa.

This fast-growing company is seeking a Site Engineer/Project Manager to support project delivery in the UAE working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, the successful candidates will assist in the planning, supervision, and quality control of sports pitch construction projects across the region.

As the Site Engineer/Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the technical and operational delivery of SIS Pitches Middle East’s projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, budget and program management and efficiency on every site.

Purpose of the Role

To manage with the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of natural and synthetic turf sports pitch construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the company’s high standards.

Have developed technical and project management skills through hands-on involvement in site operations, working with other Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to deliver world-class sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of on-site activities, including groundworks, base preparation, turf installation, and drainage work.

· Organize and supervise site layout, setting out levels, and recording site measurements.

· Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

· Manage quality control procedures, ensuring work meets technical specifications and company standards.

· Liaise with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Subcontractors to ensure effective coordination.

· Manage on-site documentation, including daily reports, material tracking, and progress updates.

· Organise and perform on-site inspections to resolve technical or operational challenges.

· Knowledgeable and practical experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.

· Organise project close-out activities, including snagging and handover documentation.
