Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support management through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements
– Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
– Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory requirements
– Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
– Coordinate and support internal and external audits
– Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
– Review accounting entries prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy
– Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
– Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making
– Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Requirements & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– Proficient in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
– Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills
