Job Description
Role:
Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to understand material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
