Job Description
As an Outdoor Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our garage equipment and woodworking machinery by building relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional service. You will be the face of our company in the field, working closely with workshops, garages, construction companies, and woodworking professionals to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
Meet and exceed sales targets for garage equipment (e.g., car lifts, tire changers, diagnostic tools) and woodworking machinery (e.g., saws, planers, sanders).
Actively prospect and acquire new customers while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
Provide product demonstrations and technical advice to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
Provide feedback to the company on market demands and product improvements.
Territory Management:
Manage a designated sales territory, planning and organizing daily schedules to maximize customer visits and sales opportunities.
Travel extensively within the assigned region to meet clients and attend industry events.
After-Sales Support:
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with the service team for installations or repairs.
Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their purchases and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using CRM tools.
Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.
