Job Description
The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning, exceptional guest satisfaction, and adherence to quality, service, and safety standards. The role involves managing multiple departments, optimizing performance, and supporting the General Manager in achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations across all departments — front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
Ensure smooth coordination between teams to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
Monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive guest experience.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling operational costs.
Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain compliance with local laws, health, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality.
Report directly to the General Manager on operational performance and improvement plans
