Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman with experience in engineering contracting to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing precise technical drawings and plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring compliance with local standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
– Develop detailed MEP drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and other drafting tools.
– Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes and updates.
– Ensure all drawings adhere to Dubai regulations and project specifications.
– Prepare as-built drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals as needed.
– Assist in resolving technical issues during the design and construction phases.
– Maintain and organize project documentation and drawing records.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman in an engineering contracting company, preferably in Dubai.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting software.
– Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and local building codes.
– Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs into accurate drawings.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
