Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on large-scale building construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven coordination skills, and experience in estimation and pricing for MEP works execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise MEP activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Monitor MEP progress on-site and ensure all installations meet safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure functionality and performance.
• Support the project team by providing technical expertise and proposing value-engineering solutions.
• Participate in project planning and sequencing of MEP works to align with overall construction timelines.
• Prepare or assist in the estimation and pricing of MEP works during tender and execution phases.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP coordination within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, design coordination, and construction methodologies.
• Proven experience in estimation and pricing for MEP works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g., Revit MEP is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and local authority procedures (e.g., TAQA, ADCD, , etc.).
• Experience working on high-rise buildings or large-scale commercial/residential developments.
• Knowledge of MEP commissioning processes and documentation.
