Job Description

Collect, prepare, test, and analyze construction materials such as concrete (fresh & hardened), soil, aggregates, asphalt, bitumen, reinforcement steel, etc.
Perform lab-based tests (e.g., compressive strength, slump, water absorption, sieve analysis, Proctor compaction) and field tests as needed.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, ensure lab cleanliness, safety, and compliance with lab procedures.
Record, compile, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
Compare results to project specifications, international / local codes and standards (e.g. UAE standards, ASTM, BS, EN as applicable).
Assist QA/QC Engineer in developing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements related to material testing.
