EGA is looking for candidates to join their team in Jebel Ali (Dubai) and Al Taweelah (Abu Dhabi)
INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
Role Summary: Performs installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrument and control systems to support reliable plant operations and ensure EHS compliance. Conducts preventive maintenance, calibration, PLC fault diagnosis, and SAP documentation while supporting safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & skills:
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in the relevant field Completion of PEC Craft Training
Minimum Experience: 3 Years of relevant experience preferably in a smelter environment or in a heavy industrial set-up after the Diploma No experience required after completion of PEC Training
Skills: Strong working knowledge of written and spoken English, with hands-on experience using maintenance tools and basic computer systems. Skilled in installation, troubleshooting, and instrument calibration. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals, with a solid understanding of PLC control systems maintenance and fault diagnosis.
