Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Import Assistant (Supply Chain) to join our trading team in Sharjah. The candidate will assist in managing import documentation, supplier coordination, and logistics operations for air conditioning materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle import documentation including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for shipment handling.
Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate records of import transactions and product inventory.
Assist in customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with UAE import regulations.
Support the supply chain team in procurement and logistics planning.
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in import/logistics roles (preferably within the HVAC or trading industry).
Strong knowledge of import documentation and UAE customs procedures.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Hindi language is an advantage.
