Job Description
Role Purpose:
To manage and oversee all financial and administrative operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective resources management.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for the effective management of commercial and administrative functions including Finance, HR & Personnel Administration, Public Relations, and communication to ensure alignment with the company’s objective.
– Manage timely mobilization/demobilization of offshore personnel, ensuring operational efficiency and cost.
– Apply, control and develop recruitment activities as per the company’s procedures and ensure the economic utilization of resources.
– Develop and review the Human Resources & Personnel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with the labor laws.
– Negotiate the most competitive insurance rates and minimize the organization’s exposure to risk.
– Ensure competitiveness of airfares and accommodation to optimize operational cost efficiency.
– Prepare the company’s budget and interim financial statements in accordance with the deadlines established.
– Monitor the organization’s current bank positions and advise management on the most favorable terms for investing surplus funds.
– Direct all legal payments in compliance with laws and statutes, assuming responsibility for any deviations.
– Maintain adherence to tax obligations, customs regulations, licenses, sponsorships, and other legal requirements across operations.
– Review contracts and tender documents, specifically—but not limited to—legal and contractual liabilities, insurance, and related matters.
– Maintain an efficient working relationship with auditors to ensure standards are met.
– Affirm adherence to standards set by professional bodies to align with client expectations.
– Monitor the performance of sub-contractors and suppliers to maintain efficiency and compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualification & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
– CFA or CMA certification from a recognized international body is considered an advantage.
– At least 20 years of experience, including a strong background in leadership and management.
– Strong IT knowledge is highly desirable.
– Good computer and communication skills.
– Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
– Demonstrated experience in developing and formulating company management policies.
– Outstanding organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
– Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
