Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a firefighting and fire protection technician to join our team. The responsibilities associated with the role include:
– Collaborate with team to visit site and perform installation and testing of fire protection and firefighting systems
– Capable of performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems
– Conduct routine inspection and repairs of Wet Chemical Fire Suppression system
– Conduct routine inspection and repairs for Clean Agent System (FM200 and Novec)
– Ability to conduct installation, repair and servicing of fire pumps, sprinkler system, extinguishers hose reel, mounting racks, hydrants, monitoring panels etc
– Ability to work well in a team environment and conform to health and safety regulations as per site and civil defense code
Qualifications:
– 2 Years ITC Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
– Strong understanding of fire protection codes, standards and regulations
– Excellent communication skills
Experience:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field will be added advantage
