Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Perform quantity take-offs for excavation, grading, concrete, asphalt, drainage, and other civil works.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop competitive bids.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope information.
Prepare and submit bid proposals and tender documents.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
Assist in value engineering and cost optimization efforts.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and client requirements.
