Job Description

• Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems.
• Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
• Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards.
• Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of: o Power Distribution Systems (LV/MV) o Lighting Design and Controls o ELV Access Control) o Earthing a AutoCAD (mandatory) o Revit MEP (preferred) CCTV Data o Lighting Design and Controls o ELV Systems (Fire Alarm
