Job Description
• Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems.
• Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
• Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings including, Power distribution layouts, Cable routing and tray layouts, Earthing and lightning protection drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Panel board layouts and schematics.
• Develop and modify 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM platforms.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards.
• Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.
