Job Opportunity: Experienced ELV CCTV Technician in Dubai

Position: ELV CCTV Technician Location: Dubai, UAE Basic Salary: AED 1800 – 2000 per month

A reputable company in Dubai is seeking an experienced and skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) CCTV Technician with a strong background in structured cabling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various ELV systems, ensuring they function optimally and meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, terminate, test, and commission a wide range of ELV systems, with a primary focus on CCTV and security systems. This includes the installation of cameras, access control panels, and other related devices.
• Structured Cabling: Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of structured cabling, including pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling of CAT6, fiber optic, and other low-voltage cables. Ensure all cabling work is neat, organized, and adheres to industry standards.
• System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and promptly troubleshoot and resolve any issues with existing ELV systems to ensure minimal downtime. This includes identifying and rectifying faults in cabling, connections, and equipment.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to clients regarding the operation of their ELV systems.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an ELV Technician, with a strong portfolio in CCTV system installation and maintenance.
• Demonstrable expertise in structured cabling techniques and standards is essential.
• Familiarity with a variety of ELV systems, including access control, intercom, and public address systems, is highly advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working in the UAE is preferred.
