Main Job Duties:
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring load lists Confers with Project Manager to coordinate activities with other organizational units and prioritizing work product
• Take steps to solve the production problems and improve the performance.
• Follow up all jobs during the fabrication processes, to avoid any problems during shipping.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Share a trusting relationship with workgroup, manage and develop plant staff
• Address employees’ issues or grievances to Management
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Oversees the manufacture of products, including materials procurement and vendor management, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Ensuring all workers maintain productivity and staying on delegated tasks.
• Quality checks including pre-weld, weld quality. pre-surface treatment, post surface treatment.
• Supervises fabrication yard erection activities (fit up, welding and lifting).
• Supervises fabrication yard installation operations (piping installation, E.I.T.).
• Prepare the shop production order, cut list & specify each machine load.
• Co-ordinates and interfaces between fabrication/installation and pre-fabrication activities.
• Scheduling all jobs loaded to factory based on: Job complexity – Machine limitations – Material Availability – Job priority.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Searches for the most efficient technical solutions.
• Review DWGs / BOM & check material stock to maintain production output.
• Provides quantitative data for producing the progress reports.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience as Steel Fabrication Supervisor/Forman
• Adequate knowledge of DWGs, strategic planning, resource allocation, and manpower allocation.
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation and inventory
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong team building, decision-making & engineering skills in steel fabrication.
