We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles, ensuring efficiency and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, completing preventative maintenance, and delivering high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, brake repairs) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Perform thorough inspections and test vehicles both before and after repair.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective.
• Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles.
• Adhere to checklists and protocols for inspections and repairs.
• Work collaboratively with other mechanics and staff.
• Stay abreast of new technology and standard practices in automotive repair.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift).
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Minimum of 2 years diploma in Automotive Technology
