Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in swimming pool design and construction drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings while coordinating with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for residential and commercial swimming pool projects.
• Develop layout plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Produce shop drawings for pool structures, piping, filtration systems, and associated MEP works.
• Revise drawings based on engineer, architect, or client comments.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations and company standards.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in swimming pool construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of swimming pool construction methods, structural details, plumbing, and MEP coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with residential and commercial swimming pool projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
